As you can see,the
bike was found in a
location that was not
a familiar area for Jill
to ride. Also an area
that would have
required much more
time than she had
available that
morning. Her parents
also were in
agreement, that Jill
would NOT have
gone this way. They
made public
statements of that
fact multpile times.
The bike's seat was
totally off of the bike,
off of the rails, when
found. The handle
bars were bent down.
White paint was
found on the bike.
Mascara was on the
handlebars. The
bike was laying
approx 4 ft beyond
grass that was 3.5 ft
tall. The tire was
sticking up. More
than one witness felt
the bike had been
thrown in that
location.
John Myers was making a phone call at 9:18 a.m. on May 31, 2000. Jill had just sent an email and logged off
of her computer at 9:32 a.m. May 31, 2000. She had promised her mom that she would mow the yard that
day. A former classmate of 12 years was driving North on Harrell Rd at approx 9:45 a.m., this classmate saw
Jill on her bike going South on the west side of Harrell Rd (This was in a direction away from her home). At
9:51 a call was made to the Behrman residence to confirm a professional appointment the following day. No
answer was received. A 2nd call was made with no answer either, but an employee at the professionals
office left a message. John made another call from his home at 10:37a.m. He makes another call at 10:45
a.m. Someone has spotted Jill's bike on Maple Grove Rd at approx 11:00a.m., the bike was off the side of the
roadway lying on its side. The seat is off, the handlebars bent. The bike is approximately 15 miles from
where Jill was last spotted on Harrell Rd (had she turned around right at the spot she was last seen). The
ride from Harrell to Maple Grove would have taken Jill a minimum of 45 minutes if she had not stopped at
all, and maintained an average speed of 20 to 24 miles per hour at ALL times. If Jill was last seen at 9:45
a.m., then the soonest she could have reached the area where the bike was found would be 10:30 a.m. ( it
would be more likely for it to take a minimum of 60 minutes) Basically, this leaves John at the most 8 minutes
to commit this act, get out of sight, hide her, cover everything up, and then make another call on his phone at
10:45. There was no DNA found in either of his vehicles, no DNA found period. If this was suppose to have
happened out of a moment of rage( as the prosecution would have you believe), how in the world was he able
to complete all of this, and have the sense about him to leave ZERO evidence? It just does not add up, any
of it. Say he did it after the 10:45 phone call, her bike was found at 11:00, that does allow 7 extra minutes,
but humanly impossible!! Even if Jill had gone this way, she would not have arrived back to her home until
11:15, had she turned around exactly from the point her bike was found, She still had to mow the grass, take
a shower, and get to work by noon. When her parents arrived home, they found the door unlocked, lights
on... and as they reported, signs that she was only planning to be gone for a short ride. We have been
misled by Lang that she went North. Nothing at all points to that, her bike was north...she was not.

Picture is of Bloomington "Water Works" station located near Moores Creek Rd where Jill and many others, commonly rode.

State's response to motion filed to correct error. As we expected, the prosecution is once again down playing crucial evidence. When are the games going to stop, and the seriousness of this situation become relevant? If the helmet sheds no light, where are the test ruling it out? Where is the helmet? Why was it never disclosed? Give us the answers! * 01/21/07 UPDATE They (state) destroyed it, DESTROYED the helmet!!
