John Douglas, legendary FBI profiler and renowned author has met with John's mother
Jodie and agreed to help with his case.
Several months ago, Mr. Douglas was contacted and told about John's case. He asked
that all of the pertinent information regarding the case be sent to him.
After reviewing John's case, Mr. Douglas responded "sometimes investigators lock in on
people and go out of their way to make their suspect fit the crime when in fact there is
nothing evidentiary wise even coming close to connecting their suspect to the crime"
He also stated, "there should not be any problem finding a basis for appeal". "It's very
hard to imagine that your mother was a witness to a very vague comment made by your
son".
Jodie met with Mr. Douglas following his lecture at ISU on Tuesday, February 5, 2008. He
called this case "the BS case from Indiana" and then commented, "I couldn't believe
what I was reading when you sent me the materials".
He referred to the case as a "cluster" and said that it had been handled poorly. He has
pledged his assistance and is advising Jodie as to further steps. For more information
